A key feature of the system for the mid-range output segment is the erection of flat wrap-around blanks, i.e. cartons. This offers decisive logistical and process-related, and therefore economic, advantages. Compared with pre-glued blanks, flat blanks can be delivered on pallets far more efficiently. The machine therefore combines maximum production speed with precise, reliable folding accuracy.

The system impresses with outstanding format flexibility and enables the production of an impressive variety of square and octagonal carton formats. The focus is on fast and straightforward format changeovers via spindle adjustments – or optionally fully automatic via positioning motors. Change parts can be replaced safely and easily using quick-release fasteners. A graphic touch display continuously informs the operator about the current machine status.

The machine operates fully automatically, and main movements such as blank separation and the blank pusher are driven by servo motors. The folding movements are actuated pneumatically. All functional steps of the system are designed to ensure smooth machine operation.
