Wraparound Packers

Wraparound packers fold the blank directly around the product. This allows for particularly tight packaging, as no folding tools are required between the product and carton. A principle we also apply to soft products. The advantage: The products are grouped directly on the blank, mechanical influences during the packaging process are reduced to a minimum. Through partially overlapping folding of the side, bottom, and top flaps, high carton stability is achieved, which can be significantly increased with completely overlapping folding. Less material for higher stability: this formula applies to the wraparound process compared to sleeve cartons. The wraparound carton thus offers greater load-bearing capacity, e.g., on the pallet. Standard wraparound cartons primarily serve as transport packaging. Via a tear perforation, they transform into attractive product presenters—and thus as display cartons meet today’s retail requirements at the point of sale. Trays represent the simplest and most cost-effective packaging solution. Thanks to their open form, they also ensure optimal product presentation in retail. Depending on requirements, there are two folding variants: Either the tray is formed before loading or in the wraparound process around the product. The product in the tray can be secured by a lid. Various options are available here. From externally glued lids to non-glued tuck-in lids to self-glued slip-on lids.
