Wrap-Around-Tray-Packer


THE PERFECT COMBINATION.

Wrap-around packers fold the blank directly around the product. This enables extremely tight packaging, as folding tools between product and carton are not necessary. A principle which we also apply to soft products. The advantage: The products are grouped directly on the blank and mechanical influences during the packaging process are reduced to a minimum.
The partial overlapping folding of the side, bottom and top flaps makes the carton extremely stable. This stability can be significantly increased again by using a fully overlapping folding.
Less material for greater stability: This is the formula used in the wrap-around procedure when compared with the RSC procedure. The wrap-around carton thus offers greater weight-bearing capacity, for example on the pallet.

Trays are the most basic and cost-effective packaging solution. Thanks to their open format, trays also provide for optimum product presentation in the retail industry. According to the requirement, there are two folding versions: The tray is either formed before filling, or wrapped around the product in a wrap-around procedure.
For transport, the product can be secured in the tray using a hood. A number of different variants are possible here. From hoods applied and closed externally, non-adhesive insert hoods to shoe box hoods.
